I got Persona 3!

... and I answered the second question in class wrong (so I took Japanese history! But I don't remember when the Jomon period was or how advanced their houses were!) so I'm going to have to restart. Possibly from the beginning since I'm not sure if I should really attempt the game on Normal (I'm pretty good tactically, but only after I've played the game for about a hundred hours). Besides, it made me present my character's name in Japanese style, so I'm not entirely positive I really want to be named Beoruv Moguri (I have no idea how Beoulve is romanized in the original FFT game). Also, I've pretty much been answering all questions at random, which is probably making the other characters think that my character is insane.

I also spent almost the entire time laughing at the little animations. I'm sorry, Atlus. I know you've got this really great game that has so many disturbing themes that it's rated M. But you made everyone chibi and they get sweatdrops and little exclamation points and they're so dang cute! KAWAII!

I'm playing on Normal Mode, but I'm not sure how intuitive it is for someone who isn't used to SMT games. On the other hand, my battle strategy generally consists of waiting for whoever's got Mission Control duty to analyze an enemy for weaknesses, and then pounding them in said weakness, in hopes that I can knock them all down so the rest of the team can kick their possibly nonexistent teeth in.

It's a good idea to have Personae with a wide range of elemental skills and resistances, too. Have you done much in Tartarus yet? If so, try to win Apsaras in an Oracle shuffle if you haven't already - she and your starter Persona have a nice fusion spell that heals your whole party and increases their Hit/Evasion besides.

As for cuteness... wait 'til you see the Frosts.
