So I've got these random Kingdom Hearts severely AU fics kicking around my head ... this latest one requires me to remove FFVIII characters other than Squall/Leon, which is simple in KHI (replace Selphie with just about anyone as she really doesn't have a large role, functionally), but gets a little hairy if I expand to include KHII. Seifer's gang needs understudies. Most of the FFVII gang is already in (although I must admit that it's now occurring to me to try Rufus, Reno, and Rude), and everybody in FFVI is a goody-two-shoes.
Then I thought, how about Tactics? While you never fight against Delita, you could say that he's sitting on the fence even more than Seifer is. He'd just need some cronies. So ... how about Teta/Tietra and Valmafra (I refuse to use the name Balmafula)? I think they could work.
